A Level Results 2014

14 August 2014 A Levels 2014

Solihull School’s Oxbridge candidates have helped the school to achieve another excellent set of A-Level results.

All 10 boys and girls in receipt of offers from Oxford and Cambridge universities achieved their required grades to crown an outstanding year for the independent school, which recorded a 100 per cent pass rate for the ninth year running.

Bucking the national trend and even beating last year’s excellent results, 83 per cent of all grades were between A* and B, and almost 55 per cent of the school’s exam entries were awarded A* or A grades.

A total of 38 pupils among the 127 candidates achieved three or more A* or A grades, nine of whom gained straight A* grades.

David E J J Lloyd, Solihull School Headmaster, said: “I am delighted with yet another set of exceptional A-Level results. They are a fitting tribute to the hard work of our pupils and the expertise of our teaching staff.”
