Rugby Club Logo Old Silhillians RUFC was formed in 1932 by the Old Boys of Solihull School. The club played at Broomfields and then Dingle Lane, Solihull until 1966 when they moved to their present home at Copt Heath.

In the early 1980s Old Silhillians RUFC opened its doors to players who were not former pupils of the School and dropped the 'Old' from their name.

Known as 'The Sils', the club has moved its way up through the lower divisions of Midlands rugby and currently play in Midlands 1 West.

Undoubtedly the club's greatest achievement to date was their appearance in the 1999 Tetley's Bitter Vase Final at Twickenham. Unfortunately they lost 3-19 to Billericay, but the experience was one that no one will ever forget.
